Everest Base Camp (1)

On 4 October 2009, the 13-member EBC group excitedly took a flight via Thai Airways from KLIA to Kathmandu, Nepal. The group transit at the International airport in Bangkok. Photo showing yours truly (KC) in the Bangkok International airport.

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! This is the first group photos in Nepal. Look how cheerful (and fully charged) we were then.

5 October 2009 at the local airport flying to Lukla, the start of trekking. Fiona standing on a conventional but heavy duty scale.

Yeah! We have landed. But we landed back in Kathmandu! Just 10 minutes before landing at Lukla, due to bad weather, the pilots decided to abort the landing and the group went for a round trip with no extra charge plane flight.

The eagle has landed! That is on the following day 6 October 2009 ... Sharon Tan.

Hi, congrats on ur group achievement!! and Great photos u all have there~!!! looking fwd for more from u guys.... If u wonder who is this, I'm the lonely Malaysian guy who went to the EBC as well...we met at the Kathmandu airport.. ;)

Good to hear from you again. I hope you have an exciting trip to EBC as well. EBC trek is really beautiful but it is a tough trek.
