On the way to Khumjung -- Rocky Dan, Jayne, Fiona, SC Yong and Sharon
The group arriving at Khumjung -- a tranquil place with all houses in green roofing. (L-R): Jayne, Yee Choi, WongFK, Alexis, Rocky Dan, Fiona, SC Yong, Sharon and yours truly (KC).
There is a school where children and teenagers attend education, and you don't see people in this small town.
Day04 (9 October) morning at Tengboche (3,860m). Yours truly standing beside the room which is only 2 feet to a ravine. In the previous evening, it was very cold and we do not have enough rooms for the group. So this type of shelter which is at the back of this lodge is considered excellent. However, at night when I came out to pee, the view was just stunning: the sky become clear (after three days of rain and bad weather). In the dark, I could see the white ice-capped mountain. In the morning, I used the cold water store in the metal container (just next to me in the photo) to refresh. There are ice in the water!
