The PACM (Pacesetters Athletic Club Malaysia) AGM & Annual Dinner will be held soon. The details for annual dinner are as follows:
Date: Saturday, 18 Mar 2006
Time: 7pm
Venue: Dynasty Hotel, Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur.
Theme: Blue & White
Dress Code: Smart casual with collar
Tickets: RM45 (adults), RM20 (12 years and below)
Tickets are available from Jamie Pang or Area Team Leaders. Based on last year's good responses, this year should be just as fun. The selection of finalists for PACM Idols will also be held on the same night.
This is an eight-course, sit-down Chinese dinner of halal type. One of the runners in my group who is good in savouring cuisine said that the food in Dynasty Hotel is good. RM45 is a very reasonable fees considering that Ang Pow for wedding dinner held in hotel is double or triple this amount nowadays.
Here is another reason that we should go: we use to see our running friends in running vests and shorts. For a change, this will be the occasion that everyone is dressed up beautifully or smartly. And for the ladies, we could be mesmerized by their stunning beauty with the evening dresses.
Last year, a few of the enthusiastic runners were invited on stage to become the impromptu backup singers and dancers that gained much applause from the audiences. So, be prepared if the same invitation is made this year.
I have informed Jamie Pang that I volunteer to take photos and to assist Chan Wing Kai (Club's photographer) for wider coverage. So, please smile for the camera, will ya?
PACM will have a booth at KLIM this Sunday 5 March 2006. Interested parties can "kau tim" everything (complete all transactions) at that one-stop centre: register for annual dinner and register for participation in PACM Idols.
