KC, thanks for the wonderful pics..you managed to catch a friend of mine running to her finish line...her name is adilah, the girl in your dsc 0391 pic...bib number D3001, she finished her marathon in 5:42. It's our first, we ran together until KM 34 where she made a dash for it and i limped in pain...
i finished my first marathon in 5h55min, too bad the organiser decided that anyone that ran the 42km in more than 5hours 20 minutes aren't worhty to have their results placed in the official website.
they seemed to stop working on that day after 10.16am.

The first marathon is to aim for completion. So, it is an achievement to cross the finishing line, whatever is the timing.
With the improved timing in your next marathon, you would not have to worry if the official "close shop" early.
