Overnight camping at Punapa Campsite

Punapa Campsite – this is a nice campsite offering affordable rate and providing meals in the package. For those who don’t bring camping tents, there are available tents for renting from the owner. With a strategic location fronting east for sunrise, this area can also see sea of clouds. For hikers, hiking up Gunung Silipat behind the campsite is the main attraction; one way up is 30 minutes.
Overnight at Cool Camping Resort, Betong

Cool Camping Resort – The owner/founder, Mr Fong, is from Guangxi, China. At times, the entire resort is covered with mist in the morning. Cool Camping Resort consists of 80 acres of land for planting tropical crops, also durians. Mr Fong says, come during end August where branded durians (eg. Musang King) would be in abundance. Customers can pick durians at 6am, and they are free.

Overnight camping at JTP Cafe River Camp, Betong

JTP Cafe River Camp Campsite, Betong – For 150 Bath (RM18), we pitched our tents in a secured and nice environment. Just a stone's throw away, there is a clean toilet with water heater. Near our tents, there are power points.
From 11am to evening, many people come to patronize this cafe, which is by a stream under the shade of big trees. They offer lunch, drinks and alcohol. Best place to chill in the hot afternoon.
Just before we went out for hiking at 5am the next day, there was morning coffee. Two male staff overnight at the cafe also.
