The fireworks display at Putrajaya fired the first salvo on Tuesday, 12 August 2008 hosted by Team Malaysia. The event lasted for 20 minutes with the dazzling display of fireworks that could almost match the Beijing Olympics albeit in a somewhat smaller scale.

The next event will be staged on Saturday, 16 August, to be hosted by Team China. We have seen the grandeur of the fireworks display in the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympics. Let's see whether that can be done here.

Wow! the fireworks are spectacular and they are REAL (as we know some of the fireworks were not real at the Beijing Olympics!)and of course expertly captured! Well done!
