Fireworks Competition 2008 is Back Again

Yeah! The once-a-year fireworks competition at Putrajaya is back again in August 2008. However, to certain extent, this event clashes with the Beijing Olympic starting from 08.08.08 (date), 08:08:08 p.m.

I received an email from Steven, Penguin-5 a few days ago. Here are the details:

Malaysia International Fireworks Competition is here!

Event days:

12.08 (Tue) - Malaysia

16.08 (Sat) - China

20.08 (Wed) - Canada

24.08 (Sun) - Spain

29.08 (Fri) - Grand Finale

20 minutes per team. The displays start at 9:30 p.m. There are food stalls inside PICC (Putrajaya International Convention Centre). Good news is that entrance to PICC Mezzanine floor is free this year.
