Night view of KLCC
The KLCC Park was crowded with revelers when we arrived at 10:30 p.m. A live concert performed by local Malay artistes was attracting huge crowds. Thousands of Malaysian gathered at the Park to usher in the New Year.
There wasn’t much dancing or cheering. Most people sit there quietly with their loved ones enjoying the evening or strolling around the park in groups.

At 11:30 p.m., there was a slight drizzle sending people looking for shelter. Many were seeking temporary shelter under the trees. Ten minutes before mid-night, the drizzle stop – it was just good timing.

Kuala Lumpur Tower
I gave a call to Weng, Jason Lee and Tony P3 at 11 p.m. who were climbing up Klang Gate Ridge to have a different experience to usher in the New Year. According to Weng, there were quite a number of trekkers already up in the hill.
I must be positioned too close to the launching area of fireworks. Standing at close distance has its excitement – I could actually feel the vibration of the Earth from the resonance of the blast.

The other problem for photography was that it turned out to be too bright and over exposed the shots.
The fireworks displays lasted for eight minutes, two minutes longer than last year.
After the displays, the entire area was engulfed with smoke

I think all the photos look great, really great! Except for the last one, but it's not your fault anyway :)
