 Kinta Adventure Tour (Kampar/Gopeng) on 27 April 2024 covering ...

(1) Shifeng Lake 石峰湖;

(2) Shifeng Forest 石峰林 

(3) Gua Anak Tempurung 水洞

From 7:30am until 3:30pm.

GeoGuide: Billy Chai +6016-511 3312

(1) Shifeng Lake 石峰湖 (Gopeng) - first activity; 7:30am to 10am;

Drive about 30 minutes to the second activity:

(2) Shifeng Forest 石峰林 (Kampar) - 10:30am to 12 noon;

Have simple lunch. Then drive about 10 minutes to a carpark. Take 4WD to start of caving;

(3) Gua Anak Tempurung 水洞 (Kampar) - 1pm to 3:30pm.

Not much hiking (just walk up the steps of Shifeng Forest, a private property); young or old also can do these three activities. 

Because of timing and distance constraint, we have 'chap fun' for lunch. One team member commented that we usually have feast and 'big makan' after completing the activities; since, we still have not completed our activity, eat 'chap fun' or 'kai fun' first 😃

Sungai Pauh Part 2 Camping and Hiking

Cameron Highlands Camping/Hiking Part 2 at Sungai Pauh (16-18 April 2024, Tue-Wed-Thu):

Day 1 - set up tents at Sungai Pauh campsite, cooking, chill-out, overnight camping;

Day 2 - hike Gunung Berembun; chill-out, overnight camping;

Day 3 - break camp, hike Coral Hill Mossy Forest, return to KL.

Kedah_Penang Hiking trip summary:

Day 1 (22 Mar 2024, Fri) - Gunung Baling (round trip 5 hr: ascent 3.5 hr; descent 1.5 hr);

Day 2 (23 Mar, Sat) - Jerai 4 waterfalls (round trip 9 hr);

Day 3 (24 Mar, Sun) - Jerai Clearwater rapids (round trip 5 hr due to time constraint);

Day 4 (25 Mar, Mon) - Laksamana trail (one way 7.5 hr to Penang Hill peak;

Day 5 (26 Mar, Tue) - Heritage food, light shopping, return to Kuala Lumpur.
